Visiting Vileyka

I slept at 1 and woke up at 10.

Alexander was at the back of the house. There was still some meat from yesterday. He said "друг" and shook my hands again. He asked where I am going? I said Vileyka. "Как?" "Автобус."

The bus arrives here at 13:40, because the last one departed at 11:15. What the hell. To leave the village by bus I have to wait 2 hours, it's 11:30 now. It's 17 degrees and quite cold. If I took the bus at 11:15, I would just wait 1 hour for the second bus. Now I have to wait 2 hours for the first bus, and 3 hours for the second bus.

The store in front of the bus station is set up so the woman sits at the front and selects the items for you. Most people in the store are babushkas. I found a place to sit down and the Internet was poor, but we could still try to watch "Москва слезам не верит". What did we watch yesterday? Picnic in the park, Gosha, Katya. I finished watching. I called the hotel in Vileyka and said I wanted to book a room.

I got on a bus. The bus is heading to Lahoysk. "Дашки?" No, that's the next bus. 13:20. A young man approached me and asked, "Вам нужна помощь?" I said, "Я еду в Вилейка." The young man checked on his phone and said, "через Минск?" I said, I am going to transfer at Дашки. He said удачи. I went on the bus. "Дашки?" "Зачем?" "Пересадка в Вилейка." The taxi costs 70 Rubles, and I was intentionally pretending to be frugal.

I got off near a village on the highway.

A police car drove by and stopped next to me, and I was questioned intensely for 50 minutes in Russian. "Зачем вы здесь? Понимаете по-русски?" "Да" "Документы?" I gave them my passport. There are two men in the police car. The car reads "Дорожная полиция Логойска". The policeman behind the wheel immediately began to scan my passport with a flashlight. The other started to talk on the phone with his boss. I mostly acted bored and calm. "Куда вы направляетесь?" "Вилейка." "Другие документы? Регистрация?" I gave them my registrations from hotels in Molodechno and my plane tickets. The man who was driving went out to smoke. The man explained the situation over the phone. "Зачем вы едете в Вилейку?" I said I was traveling, and I showed them the Kufar website. They asked to see Alexander's phone number. It wasn't on the website. They took photos of my chat with Alexander. The man was explaining on the phone it was an online platform. He spent a long time walking on the phone. "Китаец, один, на Дашки, ожидание автобуса 3 часа, говорит немного русский, это онлайн-платформа он забронировал номер. He read my conversation with Alexander and asked me if I am going to Vileyka now. I said yes. "Есть деньги?" "Да." They said I didn't need to show them the money. I showed him the route on Yandex Maps. Ok, I finally got my passport back. They drove off.

There isn't much to see. One main road, some stores, and 20-30 houses. That's the village. Mosquitos are biting me. I still have 1.5 hours of waiting, I am going to watch Приключения электроники on the bench.

The bus is scheduled at 17:03. At 16:50 a bus stopped and a man got off. I was watching YouTube. 17:10. Things were finally spiraling out of my control. Anyway, I finally called a Taxi on Yandex Go, and someone answered right away. The taxi is coming from Minsk. Right after I called a taxi, a bus came at 17:15, and I didn't even see the plates. The person inside gave me a strange look, and it drove off. Today's drama...

The driver was listening to some YouTube music and it started to rain. The taxi cost 80 Rubles.

I arrived at Vileyka, and it was a nice room, but there's no hot water. The TV was a Vityaz model.

I bought some grapes. This region is mostly small houses, and there are dogs that bark at you. It's pretty scary walking here at night.
