The east of Hefei is quite far from USTC, around 20 km. But it's quite accessible by subway or taxi. I went to Nanfei River around 3 times.

​1, 8, 9 瑶海湿地公园

Lots of people walking around at night even with few lights. Someone had a kite with lights on it, really breathtaking, stretching into the evening sky.

​4-7 南淝河

Hopped off metro line 6 at 6 pm. There were no shared bikes here and I had to walk for a while. Enjoy the sunset in the beautiful park. There are 2 main rivers in Hefei, 派河 and 南淝河, been here like a dozen times but there's something to see every time. A lot of these neighborhoods are new here.
