Day 2 in Nizhny Novgorod

I slept at 3 am, and now I can't sleep at 8:30. Anyway, I will sleep a bit more before heading out. We will sleep later today.

I headed to the next hostel. The door wouldn't open so I called them. A receptionist came down. "Это вы звонить?" "Да." Check-in wasn't until 2 pm, so I left my suitcase here. It is a space themed hostel in memory of Yuri Gagarin.

I bought 3 pastries, a huge bottle of water, and a yogurt for 155 Rubles. It's not yogurt, whatever it is, and it's delicious. Another win!

I bought a huge loaf of bread for 30 Rubles. With the bread and 1.5 L of water, I am heading toward the Kremlin in 29 degrees heat.

I walked north from Kremlin. The walk had been easy so far. And just look at the Volga and Oka rivers. The view was so good from the Kremlin.

It's so beautiful. Green grace, lovely weather over the river Volga, stretching out into the distance. But it's so hot here.

But I kept going down, and it was not easy to climb back up. I returned to the hostel. I was so tired and I slept from 3:40 to 5. Two men's toilets and two showers were broken, as well as one shower lock and one toilet lock. I'm still eating the 30-ruble bread.

And I am walking around the city again.

I waited for 30 minutes for the bus, but it didn't come. Turned out Yandex wasn't good for this area, and when I checked again, it said there was no bus coming.

Anyway, tomorrow I am meeting Sergey's cousin Alex.

I have 15000 Rubles left, and 5 days to go.

People don't talk to each other in hostels here.

Two more people arrived. The room is almost full now.
